So you have all this awesome content on your website and the first time you posted it on social media, you really did not see the traction you were hoping it would of brought (or maybe you did but now it’s gone). So what do you do now?

Well why not repurpose that valuable content on PINTEREST!

Pinterest is an excellent channel for posting your content, again and again and AGAIN! AND…unlike other social media channels your content can last a lifetime on the platform (because it’s a Search Engine NOT social media).

So how do you do this?

Very simple!

Take one of your best blog posts and create a Pinterest graphic that represents that post as a whole (see example below). Use Keywords in the title, a catchy image, correct Pinterest sizing, keywords in the pin title & description and then pin with TAILWIND. It is that easy!

PRO TIP: Use Canva for correct Pinterest Sizing Graphics & Inspiration (it’s my go-to tool).

Valuable Tip from Tailwind:

Looking for a new, effective Pinning strategy? Create and schedule 5 brand new Pins for one piece of content each week. Spread them out so you’re sharing one per week. Next week, choose a different piece of content and repeat. Before you know it, your queue will be full of fresh content that Pinterest will love!

How to create “5 brand new pins for one piece of content” (as per the tip above)?

Say you have a blog post about “10 Trips you have to take this year“. Create a Pinterest Image (or even a short video, YES VIDEO) for each one of the “Trips” you blogged about. Now you have 10 Pins that are driving traffic DIRECTLY TO YOUR WEBSITE! You can then do it again with different images and different pin descriptions a few months later (this is why I love Pinterest!).

Don’t have “10 tips”. NO WORRIES! 5 images are simple to do. Do individual pins for what you do have (this can also applied to “how to do”, DIY” posts etc.) and fill in the blanks with Pinterest graphics for the whole blog post (as mentioned above).

Dear readers, just think about how you can break apart an article you did so that it is consumed in a visual way on Pinterest (tips, infographic, video etc.).

You got this!
